About
If years ago someone had told me I would become a tax professional who is licensed to file tax returns and represent clients in front of the IRS during audits, I would have laughed and wondered why in the world would they make such an inane, irrelevant comment.
After all, I was raised a blue-collar boy. In my early adult years, my tax return was a W-2. One year I had to file a self-employment return, which I found challenging, to put it mildly.
Taxes were the farthest thing from my mind. But that was soon to change.
I experienced an unexpected, colossal income spike. The money came quickly but regrettably left quicker, which left me with a monstrous tax bill that I was in no way, shape, or form able to pay.
The letters from the IRS began to arrive. Due to my total ignorance of any course of action, I did the absolute worst thing possible for someone in those circumstances: I ignored the correspondence.
That was, of course, not a good idea…
…the balance due kept ballooning…
…the next step was the heavy hammer of the IRS: garnishment of wages, frozen bank accounts, liens, and levies…
…not to mention the continual stress, frustration, and, at times, hopeless despair.

…not to mention the continual stress, frustration, and, at times, hopeless despair.
Finally, I decided I had to get this settled, and I needed help.
So I began to study the topic. I brought myself into tax compliance by filing my late returns and worked out an Offer-in-Compromise to finally end this decade-long nightmare…and found a new vocation in the process.
After several years of preparing taxes at a large, well-known tax preparation chain, I decided to work for myself.
I’ve experienced the sleepless nights…the heart-pounding apprehension of receiving a certified letter from the IRS…the freezing of my bank account…and wondering if this burden would ever go away.
But by taking action and learning the options available, I resolved my tax issue to the satisfaction of both the IRS and myself!
And I can help you in a non-judgmental way. I’ve been there. I understand that anyone can have tax problems and not know what to do. When we work together as a team, there is a way out of your current tax ordeal.
